If i understand the process correctly, each student is ranked by the admission according to their credentials and as soon as one of the other student who was offered decline the school, then the first highest ranked student will be called up from the waiting list. So, it's really depended on how many people are in front of you but i'm not sure if there's anyway of finding out where on the waiting list.
