Which schools are good and cost-effective? Meaning, tuition is not overly priced compared to the education they are providing students.

Attending to your state's public universities is probably the most cost-effective way to get a college education. Out of state tuition is increasingly expensive, especially for popular states such as California, Florida and some of the northeastern states.

With all these tuition hike from various states, i'm not sure even attending in state school will be cost effective.
