If you are not a native english speaker and taking the GMAT exam, do you think the english section is a little hard for non-native speakers?

Yes, it can be difficult for some because the english section asks for a lot of grammatical questions.

If you are non-native, i would suggest you to take one of the review class that are offered by Kaplan or Princeton, they will prepare you well for the english section as well as tips on the writing portion.
