Can you reapply if your visa got rejected?

If you got rejected per the 214(b) rule, you can certainly reapply later on. It's not permanent. All it is as long as you can provide more background to establish your tie with the family or relatives who are trying to sponsor you.

I think the immigration office also look at which country you are coming from. They have a list of so called 'friendly' countries where the office will be more lenient as far as issuing visas.
