Here is a snapshot of the program in general.

1. Semester, academic year and summer programs for U.S. undergraduates

2. Study abroad students take classes alongside degree-seeking Japanese students, as well as other degree-seeking international students from over 60 countries

3. Courses include Japanese language at all levels, for native and non-native speakers, and upper-level courses in American studies; anthropology; art history; art; Asian studies; broadcasting, telecommunications and mass media; business; economics; film and media arts; history; journalism; new media; political science and psychology

4. Instruction is in English, with the exception of language courses

5. Small class sizes (20 students on average) facilitate lively discussions and allow professors to work closely with students to achieve their academic objectives

6. Internship opportunities available for students with Japanese language skills
