Private aid comes from private sources that are non-governmental related. It’s usually in a form of an alternative loan. The money is usually awarded directly to you or your parents. You have to double check to see if the funds can be applied to studying abroad programs. Generally, the lenders will provide a variety of different private loans, depending on your study program and your credit history.

That's great, but do be careful about the terms and policy of the loan. Please read the contract carefully as far as duration of payback, interest rate, etc.
