A good way to learn to study efficiently is to write down everything you do in a day and plan ahead. Second tip is to take some time to observe and learn from a person who achieve efficiency day in and day out. That serves as a motivator that an impossible task seems possible through efficiency.

Being organized and having a plan on studying for an exam such as GRE will definitely help. For example, you should outline from what day to what day, you are going to concentrate on studying the english portion and the next however many weeks, you are going to study the math section. And lastly, you are going to spend how many weeks doing practice exams.

This goes a little bit along with being organized. You must have an organized plan on your studying. Give yourself adequate time between exam date and studying time, so that you have plenty of time to prep for the exam. Study a little bit at a time will go long distance.
