When you study abroad, does anyone tell you where you need to go if you need to go see a doctor and if so, how expensive is it compare to going to the doctor in the states?

Well, i would say the majority of the time you will have to pay out of pocket for doctor visit. I have some experiences going to doctor while overseas and the doctor fees are not that bad compare to if you are paying out of pocket to see doctor here in the US. And some doctors' office will give you the meds too so you dont' have to go to a pharmacy and get the medicine. You may also want to check out study abroad insurance, maybe it will cover your doctor visit to a certain degree.
