The J. H. Wilkinson Postdoctoral Fellowship is one of the most prestigious and competitive fellowships at Argonne National Laboratory, and the longest-running postdoctoral fellowship of its kind at the U.S. national laboratories. It fosters cutting-edge, high-impact research in applied mathematics and scientific computing, and has a distinguished history of launching long-term research careers at the highest level. The fellowship supports exceptional early-career scientists engaged in trailblazing research in scientific computing and grows the next generation of leaders in applied mathematics. Past fellows have gone on to influential positions across academia, national laboratories, and industry.
