Postdoctoral Fellowship in Cancer Screening, Early Detection, and Cancer Interception

The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Department of Medical Oncology, Division of Population Sciences, seeks a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow in the McGraw/Patterson Center for Population Sciences. The Center is committed to population-based research aimed at detecting cancer early, preventing cancer at the community level, identifying and evaluating cancer risk in high-risk populations, and measuring the quality and outcomes of cancer therapy.

We invite applications for a fellowship focused on epidemiological and clinical studies of cancer screening, early detection, and cancer interception, with particular emphasis on multi-cancer early detection (MCED) approaches and novel cancer screening strategies being evaluated in large-scale clinical trials. The fellow will work under the mentorship of Drs. Elizabeth OâDonnell, MD, and Catherine Marinac, PhD, who oversee a research program focused on identifying and testing innovative cancer screening technologies and biologically informed interventions to prevent and intercept cancer.

The fellow will have opportunities to lead analyses within ongoing and newly developed clinical trials, contribute to manuscript preparation and grant development, and design independent projects aligned with the labâs research portfolio.

The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidateâs relevant experience, skills and qualifications.
