  • Description of Work
    Provide administrative support and leadership for Development team and Friends of Lied (FOL). Act as the primary point of communication between Friends of Lied Executive Committee, 80-member FOL Board of Directors and the Lied Center staff. Responsible for entry of information into the Lied’s donor database and record donations from Friends of Lied annual membership campaign. Provide reporting and analysis to Lied Center leadership. Coordinate logistics and arrangements for donor cultivation and fundraising opportunities. Provide fund raising leadership and assist in maximizing income for Friends of Lied and Lied Center.

    Minimum Required Qualifications
    Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field plus four (4) years combination of fundraising experience and/or clerical/administrative support experience with increasing responsibilities required; equivalent education/experience will be considered. Professional experience to include: working with a donor membership and/or special fund raising events; Working knowledge of general office practices and office equipment and PC-based word processing and spreadsheet software program skills necessary. Organizational and interpersonal skills essential. Candidate must have strong attention to details and ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

    Preferred Qualifications
    Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Four (4) years of fundraising experience. Experience working with volunteer boards and committees, special event planning and management. Professional background in the performing arts. Working knowledge of fundraising software preferred.
