    Goucher College offers an exciting opportunity for a senior research analyst to join the Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) team. Reporting to the assistant vice president for institutional effectiveness, the senior research analyst will support the Office's core activity of internal and external reporting through data collection, analysis, and reporting to serve the College's mission. The senior research analyst utilizes technology and enterprise data systems to support the Office by enhancing information delivery and analytic efficiency.

    The senior research analyst will maintain and update the Goucher Research Intelligence Dashboards and streamline reporting activities and processes. The incumbent will work with various departments coordinating data collection, assisting the Office in ad hoc internal and external data requests, identifying and resolving data issues and building a culture that uses data analysis to inform decision making.

    The successful candidate will coordinate data definitions, policies, and procedures. The incumbent will recommend, review, and implement strategies to improve the quality of data and data input techniques. As part of the OIE team, the senior research analyst will work collaboratively with the rest of the OIE team to plan and achieve office goals and priorities.

    Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in Science, Mathematics, Social Science, MIS, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college or university, and at least four years of comparable professional experience, preferably in higher education. The successful candidate should demonstrate abilities to collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data. Experience with SPSS, SAS, or other data analysis software is required. Familiarity with student information systems (e.g. Power Campus) and business intelligence software (e.g. Tableau).
