    Posting Summary
    Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care (UBHC) is dedicated to excellence in providing behavioral health services to the people of New Jersey. We are committed to being a leader in the delivery of effective, compassionate and accessible care that is informed by research and education. We are seeking a Program Coordinator to work in collaboration with the Essex Children’s Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (CMRSS) Program Manager. Functions as a member of the clinical and administrative leadership team for the Essex CMRSS program.

    Provides supervision to Senior Habilitation and Habilitation Counselors and monitors the day-to-day coordination and delivery of direct service program operations.
    Assists the Program Manager in ensuring compliance with all regulatory, fiscal and documentation requirements.
    Provides staff with direction regarding child/family intervention through team meetings and debriefings/case conferences.
    Facilitates weekly team meetings to review cases, communicate supervisory updates, and program developments.
    Develops programming to ensure integration of Performance Improvement and Quality Improvement findings.
    Acquires familiarity with agencies in Essex County that provide crisis stabilization services to children, adolescents and their families.
    Maintains appropriate client records and monitors staff compliance with all documentation requirements via documentation reports, supervisory tools and chart review; prepares and maintains oversight of clinical records for audits.
    Assists in the maintenance of on-call schedule and ensures services provided.
    Maintains required certifications and/or licenses and knowledge of trends and developments in the mental health field.
    Meets all annual requirements and keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state and Rutgers’ regulations, laws and policies.
