    Academic Engagement (70%)
    Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with faculty, staff, and academic units to implement career development initiatives, in alignment with UCC and Academic Success priorities and goals
    Apply research-based knowledge about career development to create career education materials and instructional toolkits in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and deliver training sessions and workshops to faculty and staff to enhance impact and scalability.
    Collaborates with faculty, staff, and academic units to integrate new and ongoing interdisciplinary career development programs and experiences into the Student Pathways program
    Manage a program for incentivizing student engagement in career development-related co-curricular activities for use by faculty and academic staff
    Scan the KU environment for career development-related campus programming and offer UCC support and outreach to extend the reach of this programming to more students across the University.
    Curate an ongoing list of career development-related services, resources, programs, and events to support faculty and academic staff seeking to embed career content in their initiatives.
    Ensure faculty are informed about UCC events, programs, resources, and services through monthly newsletters and curated emails as requested by faculty and academic staff partners.
    Manage the Career Partners Program, a new training program designed to increase confidence for faculty for making better referrals to the UCC through better career conversations outside the classroom.
    Manage a recognition program to recognize and elevate the career work of faculty and staff in both small-scale (emails) and large-scale formats (awards luncheons, etc.)
    Activity participate in events such as orientations, receptions, and department meetings.
    Program Management and Assessment (20%)
    Work closely with the Director of the University Career Center to build and implement the academic and campus partnership strategy to advance KU students’ career development in alignment with their academic endeavors.
    Maintain, track, and leverage relevant data to monitor progress, identify engagement opportunities with faculty and staff, and make informed strategic decisions
    Review and assess career-related events and programs created in partnership with academic units and faculty to determine how they are adhering to intended targets and outcomes.
    Provide data, reports, and recommendations to UCC leadership about future events and program planning.
    Collaborate closely with UCC colleagues from the other three key functions of the center – career advising, employer engagement, and operations – to leverage these resources and ensure smooth collaboration with campus partnerships on career development and engagement initiatives.
    Recommend changes to the departmental webpage devoted to faculty development
    Other Duties (10%)
    Represent and promote the UCC and its services, programs, and resources at career events throughout the academic year.
    Attend relevant unit meetings.
    Understand and adhere to FERPA guidelines, KU policies, and other institutional compliance expectations.
    Participate in department and campus meetings and trainings.
    Participate in relevant professional development annually.

    Position Requirements

    This position is an on-campus position due to the campus-facing nature of the position. A hybrid work arrangements of up to 2 days a week of remote work are available for this position.

    Required Qualifications

    Master's degree OR Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years of related experience in career services, human resources, higher education, or other related fields.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Doctoral degree (EdD or PhD), in education, humanities, social sciences, or STEM
    Experience working with faculty or academic staff in a higher education setting.
    Experience with career coaching and advising.
    Experience applying project management and organizational skills.
    Experience developing, managing, and facilitating training programs and events.
    Experience using metrics to analyze data for program improvements.
    Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and systems to track relationships and engagements.
