    The Mercer University Department of Internal Medicine is searching for a non-tenure track Faculty of Internal Medicine. Rank will be determined based on the credentials of the selected candidate.



    Responsibilities:

    Clinical Duties: 65% of time

    Faculty attending for in-patient ward teams - 2 to 3 blocks per year

    Teaching physical diagnosis for residents and/or students/clinical skills at the bedside

    Teaching and mentoring residents and/or students in the practice of internal medicine

    Participating in core curriculum conferences, morning report, student teaching rounds, and other departmental teaching conferences as needed

    Participating on Mercer committees as needed

    Other administrative duties as assigned by department chairman/PD/Dean

    Teaching (Didactic) Duties: 35% of time

    Participating/leading PBL

    Qualifications:

    M.D. degree

    Board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine

    Georgia medical license or eligibility for licensure in the State of Georgia
