Scope:
Applicants with a Ph.D. or ABD in electrical engineering, computer engineering, engineering education, or a closely related field are invited to apply. While candidates from all areas of electrical and computer engineering will be considered, those with expertise in embedded systems are especially encouraged to apply. This position is at the rank of Assistant Professor.
Principal Responsibilities
Teaching courses within the ECCS Department is expected. Professional development and service to the department, college, university, profession, and community are also expected. Faculty are expected to pursue scholarly research and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills:
The applicant must be committed to teaching excellence in undergraduate engineering and computer science education and must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
A.B.D. candidate with doctoral degree expected to be completed by 08/2026 or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Education (with prior degrees in electrical or computer engineering), or closely related field.
