              Job Description	
 This position is responsible for triaging CIS lines and assist with and respond to questions on routine policy and practice via the CIS shared inbox. Refers questions to advisors and other staff members accordingly. Maintains office supply inventory, and assists with ordering and receiving, copy machine maintenance orders, and assist with prepares purchase requisitions and ID order forms. Manages director’s and general office outlook calendar. Makes space reservations in the center and other locations on campus for meetings programs, events. Responsible for the BOSS security system. Provides coverage and front desk support. Occasional coverage during events and activities. Administrative support for documentation for various students. Prepares credit card reconciliation reports for associate director. Other duties as assigned.
 Education and Experience
 Associate’s degree plus 3 years of office experience.
 Bachelor’s degree preferred.
 Skills and Knowledge
 Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft suite, Adobe, PeopleSoft, On Base, BOSS.
 Office experience, reception skills, strong organizational and time management skills.
 Familiarity with office and university responsibilities to be able to appropriately and independently direct calls, students, scholars, faculty, and staff.
 Responsibilities
 Answer main telephone line and respond to questions on routine policy and practice.
 Issues recent and student question.
 Assist with management and triaging of CIS shared inbox.
 Refers questions to advisors or staff which need substantive information (discernment between these types of questions is required).
 Provide administrative support to for front desk operations (i.e. desk coverage, student reception and triage, and other similar responsibilities).
 Tasks as assigned by the associate director and staff include but not limited to maintaining supply inventory’ ordering and receiving, copy machine maintenance, assists with preparing purchase requisitions and Interdepartmental Order Form (ID).
 Associate Director and general office calendar management, BOSS, room reservations for programs events, cover 1st floor front desk.
 Provide administrative support for appropriate documentation for international student categories.
 Occasionally provide coverage during events & activities.
 Other duties as assigned.
