Qualifications
All required qualifications must be included in the application materials
Required Qualifications:
• BA/BS in a Biology or Biomedical-related science including coursework in immunology,
genetics, microbiology, biochemistry, and statistics or a combination of education and relevant work experience to equal at least four years.
• Technical experience working with and maintaining a research animal colony.
• Technical experience working in a laboratory setting with basic techniques such as pipetting, dilutions, and working with bacteria.
• Excellence in communication, specifically teaching within a laboratory-based setting (for ex:
experience as a Teaching Assistant)
• Experience with Microsoft tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Technical experience working with R pipelines, PCR, nanodrop, aseptic technique, DNA/RNA extraction.

Our interests and expertise encompass some of the most exciting areas of contemporary microbiology and immunology, ranging from the physiology and development of microorganisms, the molecular pathogenesis of infections, and fundamental aspects of immunity.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: $22/hour to $23/hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience
Time Appointment: 60% Appointment
