    The Rogel Cancer Center is an ambulatory oncology care site dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered cancer care. As a National Cancer Institute designated comprehensive cancer center, it is recognized for excellence in collaborative, state-of-the-art research that shapes how cancer is prevented, diagnosed, and treated. Located in Ann Arbor, the Rogel Cancer Center supports patients across the full cancer care continuum, including diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.     Responsibilities*
    Provides patient intake and prepares patients for exams, visits, and procedures while ensuring excellent customer service and efficient patient flow. Responsibilities include information gathering, direct patient care, data entry, medication administration, provider support, patient follow-up, and prescription management. Additional duties include taking vital signs, administering injections, performing EKGs, assisting with basic diagnostic tests and procedures, collecting specimens, maintaining and sterilizing equipment, stocking supplies, preparing exam rooms, and completing related administrative tasks.

    Required Qualifications*
    High school diploma or GED.
    Completion of a Medical Assistant program OR current enrollment in, or completion of coursework in a healthcare professional program (e.g., medical school, PA program, nursing program, or related clinical training) OR an equivalent combination of education and experience (1 - 3 years).
    Demonstrated knowledge of clinical workflows, patient care, and basic medical terminology.
    Desired Qualifications*
    Graduation from a medical assistant diploma program or an equivalent combination of education and experience (1 - 3 years).
    Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA)
