    Performs various activities relating to information technology (IT) that may include technical design implementation, maintenance of systems & services, and oversight of electronic data.
    Responsibilities
    Develop and produce visual storytelling and multimedia communications for the college through photography, videography, motion graphics, animation, and emerging media platforms. Complete projects from concept development through final delivery, ensuring alignment with college and University of Memphis brand standards, marketing priorities and institutional goals.

    Plan, produce and distribute multimedia content that supports student recruitment, engagement, events, outreach and college-wide marketing initiatives. Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team, college leadership, faculty and staff to translate institutional messages and subject matter into compelling visual content for appropriate audiences and platforms.

    Manage assigned multimedia projects, including project schedules, production requirements, equipment needs, deliverables and coordination with internal clients. Organize competing assignments in consultation with the Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications and communicate with stakeholders throughout the production, review and approval process.

    Manage content for Herff College’s digital display and monitor network across multiple facilities. Create and adapt content through videography, photography, graphic design, animation and emerging technologies. Coordinate submissions from departments, schedule approved content and ensure displays remain timely, accurate, visually consistent and aligned with university brand standards.

    Apply established visual standards, creative guidelines and quality benchmarks to photography, video, animation, motion graphics and other multimedia assets. Review content for accuracy, technical quality, accessibility and brand alignment. Revise and refine creative work based on feedback, communication objectives and platform requirements.

    Evaluate, implement and optimize emerging multimedia technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), to enhance photography, videography, animation and digital content creation. Develop efficient production workflows that incorporate AI-assisted image generation, video enhancement, motion graphics, audio production and editing tools while maintaining high standards for creativity, authenticity, accessibility and University of Memphis brand compliance. Research evolving technologies and recommend innovative solutions that improve visual storytelling, increase production capacity and support the college's strategic marketing and communications objectives.

    Capture and produce high-quality photography, video and multimedia assets using professional production equipment and software; perform editing, post-production and file management to support digital, print and web platforms.

    Maintain production databases, digital asset libraries and multimedia equipment to ensure operational readiness and long-term sustainability of the college’s media resources.

    Perform other duties as assigned.
