Governor tells companies education, jobs are linked

Gov. Ted Strickland is taking a new approach in his efforts to sell the education-reform plan approved as part of the state budget last month.

After signing the budget into law July 17, Strickland visited schools to promote the specifics of the plan. But last week, the governor began visiting businesses to "discuss education reform for a stronger economy."
