U of M Club awards six college students

Six Downriver college students have been awarded President’s Scholarships by the University of Michigan Club of Downriver.

The award goes to Downriver students who have attended any U of M campus for at least two semesters, earned a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and have demonstrated need for the scholarship money.

Applicants also had to submit two essays, one on how they’ve paid for their education thus far and what the award would mean to them, and one outlining their core values.
