Term Paper Information
The subject requires a term paper, which accounts for 25% of your grade. The paper can be on anything in physical metallurgy, which I consider to be more or less defined as the coverage in the text. If you have doubts about your choice, please ask me.

The paper is to be about 8-12 double-spaced typewritten pages long plus as many figures as you want. The format is to be:

Abstract
Introduction
Discussion
Conclusions
Bibliography

Figures, with captions (Figures and captions may be cut into text, if you wish)

A 1-page outline describing what you intend to do in your paper is due in class. I will get my comments back to you instantly. Please focus fairly sharply, rather than giving a broad overview.

The one pager is for your own protection, to keep you from attempting too massive a term paper.

The paper is due in class.
