At Princeton University, free houses draw many nibbles but no bites

More than one month and 1,000 inquiries later, Princeton University still hasn’t found anyone willing to take a free house off the university’s hands and onto their own land.

Seven properties along Alexander Street, ranging from duplexes to apartment houses, were offered free to any takers, provided people actually took the houses away. The university doesn’t want them.
