It’s prestigious private college rejection season and New York University has been hit with a flurry of angry and confused calls from applicants and their family members demanding re-reviews and asking what to do next.

NYU’s ‘Admission’s Ambassadors,’ who have taken the brunt of those confrontations are offering examples of some of the awkward conversations they have had with rejected applicants.

Names have not been identified to ensure the privacy of all parties involved.
