AN ECHO investigation today lifts the lid on an alleged qualifications scam at Liverpool Community College – sparking calls for a full probe.

A LIVERPOOL MP today demanded a full investigation into claims Liverpool Community College awarded hundreds of qualifications to people who did not attend courses.

Evidence presented to Louise Ellman alleges the college’s IT department also claimed funding on the basis it was running courses that never actually took place.
