College sells naming rights to class courses

If buying the naming rights to a football stadium or bowl game is a little out of your price range, take heart -- you can now have a class course named after you at City College of San Francisco, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Chancellor Don Griffin is hoping to save some of the 800 classes up for cancellation next year because of the state's budget crisis. On the chopping block are such courses as human biology, elementary French and financial accounting, the newspaper reports.
