Hayek looks back on 60 years in order, education

Sr. Michelle Hayek says she always new that faith and education would be intertwined for her.

“There is never anything else I wanted to do,” she said.

Now looking back on the 60 years since she first said her vows as a Notre Dame nun, there is still nothing else she would rather do.

Last month, Hayek celebrated her 60th jubilee and said she feels very blessed to have been able to spend many of those years in Wahoo doing what she loves to do – sharing her faith and educating youth.
