Education for all may not remain pipe dream

Seven years after Parliament approved an amendment to the Constitution making education for children between the age of six and 14 a
fundamental right, the apex legislative body will take up the enabling Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Bill, 2009. The Bill has been slated for consideration and passage in the Rajya Sabha for Monday.
