EDUCATION VOUCHERS FOR SCHOOL DROPOUTS

The MCA, in collaboration with 22 private vocational institutions, has come out with education vouchers which give certain discounts to school dropouts to undergo vocational courses at these institutions.

MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat said the vouchers were part of the party's Technical Resources and Internship Network (TRAIN) programme to encourage school dropuouts of various races to gain some vocational skills to improve their living.
