Pawlenty vs. the teachers unions

Teachers Unions are, at the moment, a politically soft target, and the Minnesota governor hits them this morning in a National Review piece that an advisors says will be a theme of his going forward, as he makes his way toward a presidential campaign.

Obama and his education secretary, Arne Duncan, have neutralized the issue nationally by using Race to the Top to win huge labor concessions in a range of states, and there's a general perception that it'll be hard for Republicans to use this issue....
