U of I freshmen pay 2nd highest Big Ten tuition

According to a report from the U.S. Department of Education, a University of Illinois freshman will pay $23,372 to cover tuition, fees and housing. Some students at the state flagship school might even have to add up to $4,728 to that amount if they pick some other majors, such as, engineering.
