Thomas Gilliam IV Dead: University Of Virginia Student Dies In Fall From Roof

A University of Virginia first-year student died after falling from the roof of a campus building Sunday.

Authorities report that Thomas "Tom" Gilliam IV, 19, accidentally slipped and fell from the roof of a physics building on the university's grounds.

According to the AP, university officials do not think foul play was a factor.

Gilliam, originally from Ireland, planned to major in Foreign Policy, the Hook reports.
