USC gets $150M gift

The University of Southern California has received a $150 million gift to boost scientific research at USC's medical school and two affiliated hospitals.

It's the second recent W. M. Keck Foundation gift to USC. Two years ago, the foundation gave $110 million to the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California.

The latest gift was announced in a Monday news release.

The Keck money will be paid out over 20 years with the goal of raising the academic reputation of USC's....
