Students at George Washington University are competing to collect used cell phones.

Tuesday is the first day of the month-long phone collection challenge. Student organizations are competing to collect the most phones. The organization that collects the most phones will get $3,000 from the university, with second and third place worth $2,000 and $1,000 respectively.
