State Board of Education approves grading system for schools

The Indiana State Board of Education has passed its system for grading schools statewide.

According to The Indianapolis Star, the vote was 6-2 to change the way schools are graded.

The A to F grading system was instituted last summer, using the same criteria as the previous system.

The new rules were met with criticism from several groups, including school administrators and teachers.
