Georgian College campus opens its doors

Having an opportunity to visit their potential campus for postsecondary education drew many students to Georgian College's Preview Day on Saturday.

"I'm really shy and awkward," said 17-year-old Kelsey Haynes. "If I came on the first day and didn't know anything I'd probably end up in tears and have an emotional breakdown."

The event helped the Barrie teen become familiar with the campus and gain confidence, she said.
