UC Berkeley's search for dean flounders again

The second consecutive search for a UC Berkeley journalism dean is on the verge of failure, intensifying questions about the graduate school's identity.

All three finalists dropped out of consideration this month. The Graduate School of Journalism has not had a permanent dean since Orville Schell left in 2007.
