University study abroad not hit by swine flu, yet

Despite the national Centers for Disease Control and Prevention discouraging non-essential travel to Mexico because of the deadly outbreak of the swine flu, local universities have yet to decide whether to cancel study-abroad trips to the country this summer.

"We're closely monitoring the situation and will be deciding in a few days how to proceed," said Brian Whitson, a spokesman for William and Mary.
