Early College East ‘plans to move forward' with new location

HAVELOCK - Craven County Schools is planning for a new location of the Early College East alternative high school that has been in the works for several years.

Annette Brown, the system's assistant superintendent for curriculum and accountability, said school officials are working with city officials to create a campus between Havelock Elementary School and Havelock Middle School.
