Vassar College workers protest cuts

The Vassar College campus Friday was the scene of a labor rally and parade by more than 100 workers, and their supporters, worried about the loss of summer work and perhaps worse.

The college administration, citing a steep drop in its endowment funds during the national recession, has cut back on expenses, including seasonal employees.
