Should USM go nationwide in search for new baseball coach?

When Corky Palmer left Meridian Community College to take a position on the Southern Miss staff back in the 1990s, he told me that he left MCC in good hands. He said that Scott Berry would do an outstanding job as head coach at Meridian.

Palmer was right. Berry took over at Meridian and led it to a 185-58 record.
