Twenty-two Canadian students have been quarantined in China amid fears about the potential spread of swine flu in the densely populated country.

The students, believed to be mostly from universities in Montreal and Quebec City, had boarded a plane in Beijing. But when their plane arrived in Changchun an official came on board and asked all the Canadian passengers to present themselves, Martin Deslauriers, a University of Montreal student, told CBC News.
