Lorain County Community College officials were smart to select North Ridgeville for its newest campus outreach center, especially because Cuyahoga Community College is moving ahead with its own plans for a multi-million-dollar campus complex in Westlake, a stone's throw from the Avon border.

Community colleges in Ohio offer affordable tuition and allow students and families to avoid the costly burden of room and board compared to four-year institutions.
