NCAA Bans College Sports With Poor Grades From Post-Season Play

The National Collegiate Athletic Association banned three Division I teams from post-season play because of poor grades for the first time since the organization began tracking academic reform.

The NCAA punished Centenary College’s men’s basketball team and the football teams at Jacksonville State University and University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Jacksonville State is appealing the ban.
