Education Cuts Bring Forces Together To Fight

Five of the state's leading education organizations came together Monday to take a stand against more than $626 million in proposed cuts to public education.

Representatives of the N.C. Association of Educators, the N.C. Association of School Administrators, the N.C. School Boards Association, and the N.C. Public School Forum joined the N.C. Parent Teachers Association at state PTA headquarters in Raleigh to issue a strong reproach to lawmakers for plans to make "disastrous cuts" to public schools.
