Brigham Young may open campus to YouTube

Brigham Young University in Utah is considering allowing students to access YouTube from campus computers.

Officials at the Mormon school do not block YouTube because of its occasionally racy content, The Salt Lake Tribune reported. The greater fear is that students accessing "Bizkit the Sleep-Walking Dog" or even church-sponsored materials like "Why Mormons Build Temples" would soak up too much bandwidth.

Jeff Verhaaren, a freshman, said he would like to be able to watch music videos.
