Businessman to lead UT education college

The University of Toledo is advancing its plan to have a businessman lead the college of education.

Tom Brady, the chief executive officer and founder of Plastic Technologies, Inc. in Springfield Township, will serve as the interim dean of the Judith Herb college of education.

The appointment is contingent on approval by the UT board of trustees, which meets Monday.
