LSU Beats Arkansas, Faces Texas for College World Series Title

Top-seeded Texas and No. 3 Louisiana State University will meet in a three-game series for the College World Series championship.

Cameron Rupp and Connor Rowe each hit home runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to rally Texas (49-14) to a 4-3 victory over Arizona State University at Omaha, Nebraska.

The Longhorns have made six appearances in the College World Series during this decade, winning in 2002 and 2005. The team is looking for its seventh championship.
