Why I'm for stem-cell research, but not with embryonic cells

I know that to many such a position is equivalent to sticking one's head in the sand or, even worse, effectively sentencing millions of people to unnecessary suffering, but I am sticking to my guns. I will try to explain why.

I am not unfeeling toward those who suffer. I have a brother who is paralyzed and a daughter who has a genetic defect. I would love to see them both healed. I pray to this end.

And I am thankful for the progress of science. It is a legitimate outworking of God's mandate....
